Ready-made picture frames on the Upper East Side
Not every photo needs a custom order. Ready-made frames are a straightforward way to get a picture on a desk or a wall.
The range
- Wood frames. Warm, classic and easy to live with.
- Acrylic frames. Clean and light, for a modern look.
- Plastic frames. A practical choice for everyday photos.
- Table top frames. For the desk, the shelf and the mantel.
- Wall frames. For prints and photos that belong on the wall.
Ready-made or custom?
Ready-made works well when your piece is a standard size and you like what is available. It is a good fit for family photos, gifts and prints you may change later. It also suits anything you want on a desk or shelf by this evening rather than after a custom order, as long as the size is standard.
Choose custom framing when the piece is an unusual size, when it is valuable or hard to replace, or when you want a specific moulding, mat or glass. If you are not sure, bring the piece along and we will tell you honestly which makes more sense.
Before you come in
Measure your photo or print, and note whether you want it to stand on a surface or hang. It helps to bring the piece with you too, because color and proportion are hard to judge from memory. If reflections are a concern, ask about non-glare glass.
